Position Summary
Employnet is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support daily shipping operations in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy of orders, and coordinating with carriers to guarantee timely delivery of electronic components and finished products.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack, label, and palletize outgoing electronic products according to work orders and shipping instructions
• Verify order accuracy including part numbers, quantities, and product condition before shipment
• Generate and review shipping documents such as packing slips, bills of lading, and purchase orders
• Enter and update shipment information in inventory/ERP or warehouse management systems
• Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight services) to schedule pickups and track deliveries
• Ensure proper handling of sensitive electronic components using ESD-safe procedures
• Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records and assist with cycle counts and audits
• Communicate with production, quality, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area following company safety standards and 5S practices
• Assist with receiving and general warehouse support as needed during peak periods

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics preferred
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn shipping/ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Ability to lift, move, and stand for extended periods as required
• Familiarity with ESD handling procedures is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in electronics manufacturing or component handling
• Knowledge of shipping carriers and freight processes
• Inventory control or cycle count experience

Work Environment

• Fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse setting
• Exposure to electronics production environment
• Requires standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks throughout the shift
