Shipping Associate I - Temp

Our client, a logistics and distribution organization, is seeking a Shipping Associate I - Temp to join their team. As a Shipping Associate I - Temp, you will be part of the warehouse and order fulfillment team supporting daily shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and the drive to keep orders moving accurately and on time—skills that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping Associate I - Temp

Location: Cypress, CA

Pay Range: 18.00

Shift: Monday to Friday 8am to 5:00pm

What's the Job?

• Perform physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
• Check goods received for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintain accurate records, and reject unsatisfactory items.
• Package and prepare products and merchandise for final shipment, including posting weights and shipping charges.
• Lift heavy items as needed and may operate a forklift to support warehouse operations.
• Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped, and review customer orders to examine, stock, and distribute items in inventory warehouses, distribution centers, or manufacturing lines.

What's Needed?

• Ability to follow shipping and receiving procedures accurately, including matching items to purchase orders or invoices.
• Comfort working in a warehouse environment that may require lifting heavy items.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain records and ensure correct packaging and shipment preparation.
• Willingness to support inventory organization by examining, stocking, and distributing merchandise.
• Readiness to work safely and efficiently, including operating a forklift if required by the role.
