Kelly Services is now hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate for a leading manufacturing company in West Chicago, IL near Carol Stream, IL. In this role, you'll support warehouse and logistics operations by receiving incoming materials, preparing outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and operating equipment safely and efficiently.

Schedule / Pay Rates:
- Schedule determined by assigned department.
- 1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- 1st Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- 1st Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- $21.00 per hour
- Weekly Pay!
- Schedule based on department needs

What You'll Do
- As a Shipping & Receiving Associate, you'll support daily warehouse operations by receiving incoming materials, preparing outbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and assisting with material movement throughout the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments according to company procedures
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Move products and materials throughout the facility as needed
- Operate a sit-down forklift safely and effectively (when qualified)
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records
- Organize warehouse materials and storage locations
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with other warehouse and production support duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred
- Prior sit-down forklift experience is a plus
- Forklift certification is helpful but not required
- Willingness to be trained on equipment and warehouse procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer and documentation skills preferred
Work Environment:
- This position is located in a manufacturing and warehouse facility. Team members should be comfortable working around material handling equipment, loading and unloading shipments, standing and moving throughout the shift, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
