Shipping and Receiving
- Forklift, they don't have to be certified. Almar will train.
Core Responsibilities:
- Receiving: Unloading trucks, inspecting shipments for damage/discrepancies, and entering goods into the inventory system.
- Shipping: Packaging, labeling, and preparing items for shipment, including generating packing lists and BOLs.
- Inventory Control: Updating records, performing cycle counts, and organizing the warehouse to ensure efficient flow.
- Logistics Coordination: Scheduling carriers, managing freight, and communicating with vendors or internal teams.
- Safety & Compliance: Following safety protocols (OSHA) and maintaining a clean work area.
