    JOB SUMMARY

    The primary functions of the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator are to prepare and ship products in a timely manner, receive products into inventory after verification with purchase orders, and manage the inventory broadly for our production site.     ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Package finished parts and prepare them for shipment to customers
    • Receive parts from vendors and promptly process them into inventory
    • Enter shipping and inventory data into the ERP system
    • File part certification forms properly
    • Prepare large freight shipments for shipping to customers and vendors
    • Assist with monthly cycle counts and lead physical inventory management
    • Answer shipping and receiving doors to accept deliveries
    • Pull materials from inventory and update the computer system for jobs in progress
    • Maintain a backorder log of inventory needed for jobs in progress
    • Follow production schedule to ensure on-time deliveries and follow up on late or missing jobs
    • Regularly maintain the shipping dock area, utilizing 5S and lean manufacturing standards to keep the area highly organized
    • Cross-train and assist others as needed
    • Adhere to and support all safety policies and guidelines
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Three (3) years of shipping and receiving experience
    • Three (3) years of inventory management experience
    • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
    • Experience working with ERP programs (i.e. Acumatica, Syteline, Epicor, SAP)
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted and over 50 pounds with assistance
    • Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDSs)
    • Ability to understand and willingness to support Company’s quality policies and objectives
    • Experience driving a forklift and possession of (or willingness to obtain) a permit for operation of a forklift
    • Possession of a valid standard driver’s license
    • Knowledge of and ability to wear personal protective equipment necessary for duties performed
    • Ability to work independently with minimal instruction and supervision and effectively plan, organize and execute own activities
    • Ability to work well under pressure
    • Able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with customers, vendors, and team members
    • Ability and willingness to work overtime as required to support customer and vendor demands

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Four (4)+ years of shipping and receiving experience
    • Four (4)+ years of inventory management experience
    • Experience with Acumatica

    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

    The anticipated pay range for this role is between $23 - $29/hr, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
