Summary:The Shipping and Receiving Clerk at Pacific Seafood is a key role on our Warehouse team supporting efforts of operational efficiency, reducing downtime, and minimizing errors in inventory management and order fulfillment processes. This position involves receiving, checking, and validating incoming materials, and is ideal for someone who is organized, can prioritize tasks efficiently, and is adaptable. key_responsibilities : Receiving and Inventory Management: Receive, check, and validate the accuracy of incoming materialsEnter receipts into computerPrint receiving ticketsIdentify received materials and deliver for storage/useReconcile palletsWeigh outgoing productLoad outgoing materialsPut stock in designated locations, as neededMaintain a clean organized warehouse, dock, and shipping officeScrap handling including preparation for pick-upParticipate in physical inventory and cycle countsReport inventory discrepancies Shipping and Order Fulfillment: Pull, package, and ship parts orders according to established proceduresTrack packages as requestedApply shipping charges to customer orders for invoicingIssue return authorizationsConsistently achieve shipment of products without delays or returnsRead and interpret instructions to retrieve, assemble, and prepare products/materials for shipmentOperate site computerized system and perform required data entryComply with health, safety, and environmental requirements/procedures at all timesAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary to support the overall goals and objectives of the position.
