Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Warehouse Parts Coordinator / Material Handler to join our team. This position is responsible for prioritizing work orders, pulling and distributing parts, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting manufacturing and customer order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts, using RF scanners, and working in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and pull customer sales orders, manufacturing work orders, and engineering work orders.
• Accurately record material usage and inventory transactions using RF scanners and computer systems.
• Pack and prepare customer orders for shipment following company procedures.
• Process small package and LTL shipments as required.
• Operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers safely and efficiently.
• Label sales orders and work orders accurately.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and put-away of materials and components.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Notify supervisors and production planners of material shortages.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Shipping, and Customer Service departments to ensure timely order completion.
• Assist with loading finished goods and expediting parts through the production process.
• Train and assist new employees as needed.
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and resolve issues with appropriate personnel.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure orders are completed accurately.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred.

• Experience operating:- Sit-Down Forklift

  • Reach Truck
  • Order Picker

• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.

• Basic computer and data entry skills.

• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.

• Ability to read work orders, shipping documents, and inventory records.

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
