Title: Shipping and receiving clerk
Location: Houma, La.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Check in material, enter system, and proper labelling on materials (ex. Customer, Job, & Location)
- Notify of incorrect material to purchasing
- Operate forklift, trucks, and trailers
- Organize load outs
- Keep all tools, gang boxes, trailers up to date with service and in working order
- Keep shop, materials, and tool rooms organized & clean.
- Coordinate staging of project material and return of unused project material
- Manage paperwork associated with items mentioned above
- Coordinate with purchasing and line managers for pickups and drop offs
- Line up shop drivers for pickups and drop offs
- Self-sufficient, completing duties with minimum supervision
- Good communication skills

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of shipping/receiving experience.
- Previous forklift experience required. Forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as by self without direct supervision.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Computer proficiency Ex. Word, Excel, & Outlook
