We are seeking a full-time shipping and receiving clerk with experience handling, identifying, documenting, and packaging small manufactured parts. Applicant must be responsible, mature, and interested in long-term employment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Verify part numbers, quantities, manufacturing certifications, and engineering documentation to maintain strict aerospace part traceability.
- Package components according to specific customer requirements and regulatory specifications.
- Prepare shipments using UPS, FedEx and other platforms, ensuring accuracy.
- Receive, identify, label, store, and organize incoming parts and materials.
- Participate in inventory counts and materials handling.
Qualifications
- Packaging, inventory, or shipping experience within aerospace, aviation, precision manufacturing, defense, or another manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with UPS and other shipping platforms, and standard computer skills for data entry.
- The ability to read and interpret purchase orders, packing instructions, part numbers, blueprints, and supporting documentation.
- Exceptional accuracy, organization, attention to detail, and an ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to lift, carry, push or pull weights up to 50 pounds.
- Forklift experience is preferred, but not required.
