Description

Pay Range: $23.00hr - $25.00hr

Job Overview:

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk performs operational tasks associated with receiving, picking, packing, and shipping at the regional supply fulfillment center. Primary responsibilities include unloading material, managing inventory storage, building boxes, fulfilling orders, operating material handling equipment safely, and maintaining accurate inventory counts.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks associated with receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations for the regional supply fulfillment center.
  • Execute pallet and box breakdown using cutting tools, material put-away into storage or flow racks, and box assembly.
  • Initiate orders on the line, conduct pre-packaging, item counting, material transfers, and physical inventory audits.
  • Pack materials safely using air pillows and tape guns, affix shipping labels, prepare pallets, and load delivery trucks.
  • Fill and confirm customer orders, including offline order filling and labeling.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, for moving and lifting inventory.
  • Maintain clean work areas and strictly comply with safety guidelines, material management practices, and work instructions.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively within a team environment.

Required Knowledge:

  • Item recognition and accurate inventory counting techniques.
  • Proper packaging methods for secure transit.
  • Safe lifting practices and safe operation of cutting tools.

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years of warehouse operations experience.
  • Proficiency with shipping software and shipping label printing.

Due to nature of job The candidate must have Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
