Description
We're hiring for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a manufacturing facility in Durant, MS.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Receive incoming materials, parts, and supplies; verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
Inspect incoming products for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues as needed.
Unload, move, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
Pick and pull parts according to work orders, customer orders, or production requirements.
Pack products and materials securely for shipment.
Prepare shipping documents, labels, and bills of lading.
Coordinate outbound shipments with carriers and transportation providers.
Maintain accurate inventory records using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP system.
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, work orders, and packing lists.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience.
Experience using inventory management, ERP, or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Forklift certification or prior experience operating material-handling equipment.
Experience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
Physical Requirements
Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Safely operate warehouse equipment.
Work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
