What You'll Do as a Shipping & Receiving Associate:- Pack and prepare customer orders for shipment according to established procedures and delivery requirements
- Enter sales orders, carrier details, freight information, and tracking numbers into the system accurately
- Track product locations and ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Generate customer invoices and maintain accurate shipping documentation
- Inspect materials and verify quantities, quality, and bills of lading
- Package, label, band, and prepare shipments according to customer and carrier requirements
- Maintain required paperwork, department housekeeping standards, and inventory records
- Follow all safety procedures while handling products, materials, and equipment
What You Need to Bring to the Shipping & Receiving Associate Role:- High school diploma or GED
- Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry systems
- Experience with transportation or shipping software preferred
- Ability to operate pallet jacks or order picker equipment (preferred or trainable)
- Strong attention to detail with ability to handle numeric data accurately
- Ability to work independently and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Reliable attendance, ability to follow instructions, and capability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
