DescriptionAmazon's Global Logistics team is looking for a detail-oriented and communicative Shipper Performance Coach to join our Shipper Support team. In this role, you'll help ensure freight moves smoothly into our fulfillment network by monitoring shipper performance, flagging transportation issues, and supporting vendors through established processes.This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is passionate about logistics, enjoys working with data, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll gain hands-on experience in supply chain operations while building relationships with external partnersKey job responsibilities- Monitor daily inbound freight data and flag disruptions such as missed pickups or delayed shipments using established tools and dashboards- Follow standard operating procedures to support the resolution of transportation issues in real time- Maintain accurate daily logs on assigned shipper accounts, documenting interactions and performance trends- Participate in weekly calls with assigned shippers to communicate performance updates and reinforce operational standards- Assist with outreach to shippers regarding compliance concerns, escalating complex issues to senior team members as needed- Compile and present routine performance data to support team reviews- Support root cause identification for recurring transportation defects by gathering and organizing dataA day in the lifeYou will work on a team focused on resolving inbound transportation disruptions and ensuring freight flows smoothly into our fulfillment centers. Your day will involve analyzing data to identify root causes of missed pickups and dwelling ARNs, conducting direct outreach to shippers with varying operational capabilities to resolve issues and coach them toward operational improvements.About the teamThe Shipper Support team is part of Amazon's Global Logistics Shipper Experience organization, dedicated to ensuring seamless inbound freight operations across our domestic first mile supply chain network. Our team combines data analysis, direct shipper engagement, and process improvement expertise to detect, prevent, and resolve transportation disruptions before they impact our customers. We foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation, where team members are encouraged to dive deep into problems and develop creative solutions to emerging challenges.
