Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator
Pay Rate: $21/hr
Schedule: Monday Friday | 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Position Summary
Seeking a Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator to support warehouse and logistics operations. This role involves sit-down forklift operation, coordinating shipments, scheduling carrier pickups, and building wooden shipping crates. Ideal candidates will have strong shipping experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
- Schedule carrier pickups and manage shipping logistics
- Build wooden shipping crates using basic hand tools
- Load and unload materials and finished goods
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation
- Follow safety and warehouse procedures
Requirements
- 2+ years of sit-down forklift experience
- 23 years of direct shipping experience
- Experience scheduling carrier pickups and coordinating shipments
- Experience building wooden shipping crates
- Ability to use basic woodworking tools (drill, hammer, handsaw)
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
