EK Machine is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipper to join our Shipping & Receiving team. In this role, you will help ensure customer orders are accurately prepared, packaged, and shipped while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
What You Will Do
- Pull and prepare parts using printed pick lists
- Coordinate and oversee customer kits
- Transport products between facilities using a company non-CDL vehicle
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Pack, crate, and prepare orders for shipment
- Verify shipment accuracy and documentation
- Conduct daily forklift inspections
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely
- Complete inventory audits as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with receiving activities as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three years of related shipping, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience
- Forklift experience or ability to obtain certification
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the workday
- Ability to work safely around moving equipment and machinery
