Shift Supervisor Sergeant

Overview

Chenega & the CDC are seeking a Shift Supervisor - Sergeant to lead security operations and support mission-critical site protection. In this role, you''ll supervise security personnel, coordinate daily shift coverage, and help ensure a safe and secure environment while serving as a key leader on the team

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and support security personnel during assigned shifts, ensuring high performance, accountability, and adherence to post orders and security procedures.
• Manage daily staffing and shift coverage, including schedule adjustments for absences, leave, and operational needs while maintaining full site security coverage.
• Conduct security operations including access control, facility and vehicle inspections, patrols, traffic control, and interaction with government personnel and the public.
• Respond to and report unusual, emergency, or security-related incidents, ensuring compliance with company policies, site requirements, and government regulations.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED and at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required security credentials, licenses, certifications, registrations, and site clearances, including applicable armed security officer requirements.
• Ability to successfully pass required background investigations, including DOJ Security Risk Assessment and National Agency Check requirements.
• Strong English communication skills with the ability to read, understand, and apply written policies, post orders, instructions, and training materials.
• Successfully pass background and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous supervisory experience within a civilian security organization, civilian law enforcement agency, military police unit, or a related security environment.
• Prior experience leading teams in a security, public safety, military, or protective services setting.
• Experience working in regulated or government-supported security environments.

USD $30.00/Hr.
