    IMAGINE THE FUTURE WITH ENVALIOR

    As a Shift Superintendent at Envalior, you will lead the production team, ensuring that they adhere to the SHE requirements, SOP's, quality standards, and maintain the expected volume of product. You will actively instruct and troubleshoot while helping to motivate our team to be their best. Additionally, you'll embrace a pioneering spirit, exploring new methods of working to contribute to our values and mission.

    You will make key contributions to Envalior:

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

    • 3- 5 years of leadership experience
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
    • Ability to lead union/ non-union personnel
    • Problem solver thinker
    • Minimum one year experience in implementing lean manufacturing processes.
    • Prior experience in extrusion/compounding preferred but not required

    Requirements

    1. Oversees, monitors, and coordinates production team activities giving importance to overall team’s achievement of established goals and reports results. Areas: 5s, Housekeeping, Safety, Quality, Productivity, Continuous Improvement.

    2. Acts as liaison between production machine operators and support departments.

    3. Ensures effective employee relations in a union environment.

    4. Ensures the safety of equipment & line personnel through enforcement of Envalior safety standards.

    5. Evaluate the job performance of line employees and enforce discipline as needed.

    6. Monitor and enforce adherence of key operating parameters and regularly checks for maintenance needs on the line equipment.

    7. Exemplary with his/her own SHE behavior and ensures adherence by employees.

    8. Investigate and report all incidents related to production personnel.

    9. Troubleshoots, resolves, and reports on processing issues as they arise in production. Processing issues include, but are not limited to, product, temperature, SHE, quality, control systems, feeders, raw materials, and technical monitoring.

    10. Interfaces with inter-company technical personnel, maintenance, and direct labor, to achieve optimum asset utilization.

    11. Possess working knowledge of the compounding process.

    12. Work to establish “first time right” behavior, reduce scrap, reduce rework, and eliminate problems when processing rework.

    13. Complies with all position requirements as defined in Envalior's internal control, quality system and SHE requirements, policies, and procedures.

    14. Performs special projects and related duties as assigned.

    15. Support the Work Order/Permit Process as owner of the production equipment.

    16. Ensure end of shift reports, downtime data, and timekeeping are properly documented.

    Authorities

    1. Authority for the preparation of safe work permits in preparation for work on the installations.

    2. In case of safety consideration, interrupt the work.

    3. Responsibility for preparing and first gatekeeping technical and quality notifications.

    4. Authority for giving advice for adjusting the production process inside and outside the operating window under the relevant procedures (KOP list)

    5. Perform employee assessments & enforce work rules and company standards.

    6. Authority for guiding and directing contractors.

    Projects/special assignments

    1. Active member of Emergency Response Team (ERT).

    2. Other assignments as requested by manager.
