Role overview

Shift Managers/Leads and Assistant Managers are key members of our restaurant leadership team. You'll lead the shift, coach the team on tasks, and deliver the Costa Vida experience through outstanding guest service, quality food, and a clean, welcoming restaurant. Leaders are the most influential team members within Costa Vida. Additional tasks include:

• Organizing shift schedules for team members
• Assigning duties to specific team members based on role and skills
• Respond to guests and come up with creative solutions
• Adhering to company policies and health, safety, and employment standards
• Balancing cash drawers and preparing cash deposits
• Opening/Closing the restaurant
• Proficiency in other positions within the restaurant

Must-have requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule (including days, nights, and weekends) up to 5-6 days per week, as needed.
• Restaurant leadership experience (Shift Lead/Supervisor or similar) or strong restaurant experience with the ability to lead and coach a team.
• Commitment to great guest service, quality standards, and cleanliness.

Preferred qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• 1+ year of restaurant experience.
• 6+ months in a Shift Lead/Supervisor role (for leadership positions).
