The Shift Manger oversees daily workflow in the Production department ensuring all client jobs are produced based on the current production schedule within quality and timeline standards. This position monitors employee and machine performance, provides appropriate feedback to the Senior Production Manager and Quality Assurance Team; and coordinates machine staffing and job scheduling to ensure daily production goals are met. Essential FunctionsCoordinates staffing and machine operation to meet current production scheduleRegularly checks for production schedule changes and adapts workflow and job priorities accordinglyTeaches and coaches employees on the importance of safety, quality and production efficienciesPerforms quality checks and verifies proper safety procedures are in placeSchedules routine maintenance and documents all actions takenTroubleshoots machines as needed or coordinates with Maintenance ManagerEnsures Department cleanliness and organization is maintained at all times Reviews timesheets daily Additional ResponsibilitiesPerforms all duties of a Machine Operator when neededCompletes additional tasks as assigned by Production ManagerMaintains communication with other departments throughout the dayDemonstrates behavior consistent with DMS Values and Code of ConductAdheres to all DMS policies and procedures at all timesLearns and adheres to all Information Technology and data security policies, standards, guidelines and proceduresLearns and adheres to DMS rules and established policies for workplace health and safetyCompletes all required compliance training on time and in good faith  Manager dutiesHas Operators, Support Specialists, and Material Handlers as direct reportsLevel of supervision: ManagerProvides regular and timely feedback on work quality and performance to all team members Conducts performance reviews, motivates team members and creates strategies to boost productivityInterviews and selects candidates to fill open spots on team using data Ensures employees adhere to company policies and legal regulations  QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDThree to five years' relevant experience in a production or manufacturing environmentExperience with Microsoft Office suite and various internet browsers ScheduleMonday through Friday 2:30pm - 10:30pmSunday through Thursday 10:30pm-6:30am OT is required
