Job Summary
As a Shift Manager, you will take ownership of the restaurant during your shift; leading the team, ensuring smooth operations, and delivering an outstanding guest experience. You will
work closely with store leadership and play a key role in setting the tone for the team every day.
Each Shift Manager is certified in one of the 5 core stations at Super Chix. These stations are Custard & Hospitality, Expo, Fries, Build, and Breading. Shift Managers are most commonly
stationed at Expo, serving as the last point of quality control before food reaches the guest.
Lead & Support the Team
- Lead, motivate, and coach team members during your shift
- Train staff on service standards, food prep, and safety procedures
- Set the tone for energy, pace, and hospitality throughout the shift
- Act as the go-to person for any shift-related issues or guest concerns
Deliver Great Guest Experience
• Ensure fast, friendly, and accurate service at all times
• Handle guest concerns professionally
• Maintain high standards for order accuracy, ticket times, and food presentation
• Uphold Super Chix’s goal of delivering great food within required time
Run Daily Operations
- Oversee food prep, order flow, and cleanliness
- Ensure the restaurant is stocked, clean, and organized before and during service
- Follow proper cash handling and POS procedures
- Monitor holding times, food quality, and sanitation standards throughout the shift
- Ensure all prep is completed to Super Chix brand standards by 10:30 AM daily
Maintain Safety & Standards
- Enforce food safety, sanitation, and cross-contamination prevention protocols
- Ensure all team members comply with uniform and hygiene standards
- Maintain a clean, safe environment for both team and guests at all times
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health codes and Super Chix brand standards
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- Experience in a fast-paced restaurant or quick-service environment preferred
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
Skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to stay organized and perform under pressure
- High energy, high attention to detail, and a hands-on approach
- Problem-solving mindset with a genuine commitment to food quality
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be available for 1 week of paid training at Super Chix headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah
- Must be available for 1 week of paid training at Super Chix Morrisville, NC location
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- ServSafe Certification (highly preferred but optional)
- Experience training or supervising team members
- Background in food service, hospitality, or kitchen operations

- $15–$20/hour base pay
