We just have one problem: there are a lot of sandwiches that need making! We specialize in the best deli sandwiches around, freshly made sides, and desserts. We also have a great catering clientele. We want to be known as the best deli sandwiches around Winter Park!

This is where you come in. As a Deli Shift Lead, you’ll play a key role in keeping our deli running smoothly and ensuring every guest enjoys the Rudi’s experience. You’ll be hands-on with prepping/cooking ingredients, crafting sandwiches, and engaging with customers—all while leading by example and supporting the team. If you thrive in a fast-paced, upbeat environment, this role is for you.

What Winning Looks Like:

• Lead and assist in daily preparation of ingredients
• Deliver excellent customer service with every interaction
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked deli
• Ensure quick, consistent service for all guests
• Uphold sanitation and safety standards at all times
• Support opening and closing procedures as needed
• Provide guidance and motivation to team members during shifts

Skills Needed to Win:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or deli environment (specifically sandwich preparation, not grocery deli).
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Self-motivated with high energy and enthusiasm
• Clear and effective verbal communication
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and multi-task
• Positive attitude and approachable demeanor
• Commitment to hard work and consistent performance
