POSITION SUMMARY: Destiny Foods, Inc., a franchise owner of Subway is seeking a full-time Sandwich Artist Crew Member Lead. This individual is responsible for holding store keys to open and close without management as necessary. May be called upon to open and close the store in the absence of the manager including all required system. During the absence of the General Manager and the Assistant Managers, the Lead is in charge of the store, with authority to make necessary decisions to operate the store at maximum profit, efficiency, and superior customer service. The shifts for a store Person in Charge will vary day to day and morning and/or evening shifts may be required. A Sandwich Artist greets and serves guests, prepares product, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, and handles or processes light paperwork. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position. ADDITIONAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting customers and preparing their orders.
- Ability to work in any area of the restaurant when needed.
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains to customers accurately.
- Operates and uses Point of Sale system to record orders and compute the amount of the bill. Collects payment from customers.
- Account bread baking and counts during the assigned shift.
- Prepares food neatly, according to formula, and in a timely manner.
- Checks products in sandwich unit area and restocks items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift.
- Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up.
- Cleans and maintains all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image. Understands and adheres to the 3-step method for cleaning.
- Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as outlined in the SUBWAY Operations Manual.
- Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the SUBWAY Operations Manual.
- Performs light paperwork duties as assigned.
- Completes University of SUBWAY c courses as directed.
$13.50 an hour, plus tips
