Jersey Mike's is seeking an experienced and motivated Shift Lead to join our team in Patterson, CA. This is a leadership position for candidates who have previous Jersey Mike's experience and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service while helping lead a high-performing team.

As a Shift Lead, you will support restaurant operations by supervising team members during your shift, ensuring outstanding guest experiences, maintaining company standards, and helping create a positive and productive work environment.

Position Overview

The Shift Lead serves as a hands-on leader responsible for overseeing day-to-day shift operations, supporting team development, and ensuring operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while upholding the Jersey Mike's culture and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise team members during assigned shifts
• Ensure exceptional customer service and a positive guest experience
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Maintain food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards
• Train, coach, and support crew members
• Monitor productivity and ensure efficient restaurant operations
• Handle customer concerns professionally and effectively
• Maintain compliance with company policies and operational procedures
• Support inventory management and daily operational tasks
• Lead by example and foster a positive team culture

Qualifications

• Previous Jersey Mike's experience is required
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in the restaurant industry preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Compensation

• Competitive pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on experience
