Description
YWCA Dayton, a 24 hours organization dedicated to the elimination of racism and the empowerment of women, seeks an energetic, dedicated person to be an integral part of our team. As an Exempt- Salaried position, the Shelter Navigator II assists with crisis services by ensuring that survivors of domestic violence, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and stalking and their children have access to crisis hotline and/or shelter on 24-hour per day basis. This position is the face of the organization and is passionate about "Making a Difference" in the lives of all within our community.
This enhanced role builds upon the Shelter Navigator position by incorporating individualized case planning, progress monitoring, and service coordination. This position is a full-time position and is mission oriented as an Exempt- Salaried employee expected to work 40 hours weekly with some evenings and weekend activities. The Shelter Navigator II position is responsible for customer service and quality supportive services are made available to victims of domestic violence and their children on a 24-hour per day basis. The client support team will deliver services utilizing trauma informed care and other best practices and protocol.
