Position Overview:
CCS Construction Staffing is seeking a dependable Sheet Metal Shop Helper to assist with HVAC duct fabrication and assembly in a manufacturing/shop environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the sheet metal trade while gaining hands-on experience in ductwork production and shop operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with HVAC ductwork fabrication and assembly
- Support alteration and repair of sheet metal products and equipment
- Gather, organize, and stage materials for production
- Assist with operating hand tools and shop equipment
- Support cutting, forming, insulating, sealing, and assembling ductwork components
- Follow supervisor instructions and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Construction, manufacturing, warehouse, or sheet metal experience preferred
- Ability to use basic hand tools safely and effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
- No blueprint reading experience required
- Reliable transportation required
- Must be available and willing to work overtime
- Strong attendance record and work ethic
- Must be eligible for a temp-to-hire opportunity
- No language barrier
Dress Code / PPE Requirements:
- Work boots required (no tennis shoes)
- Work pants required (no sweatpants)
- T-shirts permitted

- All required compliance documentation must be completed and submitted for client approval
