If translating technical prints into precise metal parts sounds like your craft, you’ll thrive with our team in Minneapolis, MN 55414. We’re looking for a fabricator who enjoys solving problems, collaborating, and delivering quality with every bend and fastener.
What you’ll do
- Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine steps, tooling, and tolerances.
- Operate press brakes to form parts accurately.
- Use hardware insertion machines and complete mechanical assemblies per print.
- Confirm that finished work meets quality standards and customer requirements.
- Team up to troubleshoot nonconformances or fabrication challenges.
- Maintain a tidy, compliant, and safe work area.
What you’ll bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; bonus points for technical training in sheet metal.
- Hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication or a related role.
- Working knowledge of fabrication techniques and common shop tools.
- Fluency in reading and applying technical drawings and blueprints.
- Keen eye for detail and a dedication to quality results.
- Resourceful problem-solver; effective both independently and within a team.
- Comfortable following safety protocols and regulations.
