POSITION DETAILS

Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanics and Helpers

Pay Rate: $20-$28

Location: Fayetteville, NC

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 5 8s, starting at 6:30 am

Start Date: ASAP

SCOPE OF WORK

• Install and assemble rectangular, spiral, and other commercial duct systems
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, plans, and layouts
• Coordinate installations around other trades and site requirements
• Assist with ductwork assembly, measuring, cutting, and leveling
• Maintain safety standards and quality control standards for healthcare construction

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Must complete ladder and fall protection safety (CCS will provide)
• Commercial HVAC/sheet metal installation experience required
• Able to read mechanical drawings, interpret plans, and layout duct systems
• Valid lift and fall-protection certifications as applicable
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Must pass a 9-panel drug test
• Must complete Cape Fear jobsite orientation, including an approximately 20-minute orientation video

CANDIDATE PREFERRED SKILLS

• Bilingual English/Spanish candidates supported by a reliable bilingual employee are a plus
• Hospital/medical construction experience is a plus
• Experience with commercial HVAC installation and duct fabrication
