Sheet Metal Machinist
Job Summary
We are seeking a Sheet Metal Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating sheet metal fabrication equipment, interpreting technical drawings, and producing high-quality components in a fast-paced production environment. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, precision, and a commitment to maintaining exceptional quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate sheet metal fabrication machinery, including laser cutters and other production equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate manufacturing of parts.
- Manufacture sheet metal components efficiently while meeting production schedules and quality requirements.
- Perform routine quality inspections to verify dimensions, specifications, and overall workmanship.
- Troubleshoot machining and production issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience as a Sheet Metal Machinist, Fabrication Technician, or in a similar manufacturing role.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication specifications.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, machinery setup, and operation.
- Ability to determine the most effective machining methods and execute them successfully.
Preferred Skills
- Experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment and other advanced sheet metal machinery.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and manufacturing best practices.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of fabrication techniques.
