PPS is seeking a Sheet Metal Fabrication Technician / Programmer for an established manufacturing partner in Solon, Ohio! This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined individual with fabrication experience looking to grow their skills in a modern manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate laser cutting and press brake equipment.
- Program and nest sheet metal components for production.
- Operate deburring and PEM insertion equipment.
- Perform tapping, deburring, and finishing operations.
- Read blueprints and inspect parts to ensure quality.
- Load/unload equipment and move materials throughout the facility.
- Assist with machine setups, tooling changes, and production improvements.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred.
- Experience with forklifts, hand tools, and pneumatic tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints.
- Laser cutting, press brake, or CNC programming experience a plus.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
