    Sheet Metal Bending Technician (Hydraulic/CNC) — Tualatin, OR

    What you’ll do

    • Set up and operate press brakes to form sheet metal parts to exact specifications.
    • Manage CNC setups and changeovers to meet shifting production priorities.
    • Interpret blueprints, templates, and drawings; apply bend deductions accurately.
    • Plan bending sequences using knowledge of material behavior and forming techniques.
    • Run additional fabrication equipment: notchers, rolls, hardware machines, and RAS panel benders (CNC).
    • Perform routine maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and adjustments on hydraulic systems.
    • Inspect parts, maintain tight tolerances, and correct deviations quickly.
    • Contribute to team-based improvements in workflow, efficiency, and safety.
    • Keep the work area organized and assist other departments when needed.

    What you bring

    • 1–3 years as a press brake operator or similar metal fabrication experience.
    • Working knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical systems.
    • Proficiency with CNC setup, tooling selection, and machine tuning.
    • Fluency in reading blueprints and fabrication drawings.
    • Experience with hydraulic press brakes; RAS panel bender familiarity is a plus.
    • Understanding of sheet metal processes and comfort with basic hand tools.
    • Detail-oriented problem solver who can work solo or with a team.
    • High school diploma or equivalent; trade/technical certification preferred.

    Physical role

    • Stand for long periods on concrete flooring.
    • Lift 25+ lbs as tasks require.
    • Use average manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
