We're looking for someone w ho: • Is currently studying or has interest in one of the following program areas; Early Childhood Education, Child & Youth Care, Recreation and Leisure Services, Ontario College of Teachers programs or other relevant diploma or degree programs • Demonstrates experience in promoting self -care, fostering personal growth, and providing uplifting mentorship to girls and gender -diverse youth. • Has knowledge of a variety of teaching techniques including modeling, active listening, and observing, questioning, demonstrating, and supporting children. • Can observe children for the purpose of creating learning opportunities that promote development within social, emotional, cognitive, language, sensory and physical domains. • Has experience working within school age or camp programs and can support every function within the program; this includes outdoor activities, classrooms, cleaning, and administrative tasks. • Has experience working with children ages 6 to 12 and their families .
