We're looking for someone who doesn't just agree with these values, but lives them out in how they treat every neighbor they serve.About the RoleAs a Shared Housing Case Manager, you'll walk alongside individuals and families moving from housing instability toward lasting independence. Working at the intersection of case management and housing coordination, you'll support clients from initial assessment through lease negotiation and roommate matching. You'll build trusted relationships with clients, landlords, and community partners alike, making sure every participant has the tools, resources, and encouragement needed to achieve safe, stable, self-sufficient living.Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Some evening or on-call availability may be required to respond to client crises, and quarterly field work is required for shared housing inspections.What You'll DoCarry a caseload of approximately 20–25 clients requiring hands-on case managementConduct client assessments to identify service needs and barriers to housing stabilityDevelop housing case plans in partnership with clients, focused on housing, health, and essential needsMaintain accurate, timely records in HMIS and other required systemsServe as liaison between clients and landlords, supporting lease negotiations and mediating issuesHelp clients find safe, affordable shared housing and match with compatible roommatesConduct home inspections to ensure safety and habitabilityProvide crisis intervention, safety planning, and connection to emergency servicesConnect clients to food assistance, SNAP benefits, and financial literacy educationBuild and maintain a referral network across community agenciesRepresent The Just One Project at community events, including a minimum of 6 Pop Up & Give events per yearWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience3+ years in case management, social services, housing services, or a related fieldExperience with crisis intervention and safety planningExperience using HMIS or similar case management databases, with strong documentation skillsExperience in a nonprofit setting and/or with vulnerable populationsA valid, unrestricted Nevada driver's license and reliable transportation, required for home inspectionsAbility to obtain a Nevada Food Handler Safety Training Card within 30 days of hireA client centered, trauma informed approach and sound judgment in high-stress situationsA genuine connection to our mission and a commitment to living out our core values of Respect, Integrity, Innovation, and Compassion in your daily workCompensation and BenefitsCompensation based on experience. As a Staff Tier team member, you'll also receive:Health, Dental, and Vision coverageAdditional insurance options including Life Insurance, AD&D, Critical Illness, Accident Insurance, Short and Long Term Disability, and Pet Insurance401k retirement plan with 3% employer matchPaid Time Off, accrued from your start date2 floating holidaysBirthday PayBereavement payPaid parental leave6+ weeks of paid holiday time off per yearThe Just One Project is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
