LSF is seeking a talented Sexual Abuse Prevention Manager who wants to make an impact in the lives of others.
Purpose and Impact:
This position is responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of policies and procedures related to Preventing, Detecting and Responding to Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment of UAC. The PSA Manager ensures program compliance with PSA policies and procedures, identifies areas of needed improvement and develops plans of action to achieve desired outcomes. The PSA manager also contributes to the program quality assurance plan and completes programmatic reports. The PSA Manager is directly supervised by the Program Director. This is a direct care position.
Essential Functions:
Supervisory Responsibilities
The PSA Manager does not have direct supervisory responsibilities; however, the PSA Manager has the time, access, and authority to question any program staff in order to guide implementation of the policies and procedures related to ORR standards to Prevent, Detect and Respond to Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment Involving Unaccompanied Children and effectuate change.
Education:
A bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, human services or social service fields or business administration or management
Experience:
At least one year of experience working with child welfare standards, best practices, or quality assurance or compliance
Skills:
Reasoning Ability
The PSA Compliance Manager must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Additionally, the PSA Compliance Manager must possess strong assessment skills and the ability to remain composed and neutral in high pressure situations.
