Experience Requirements

• Entry-level position
• Industrial sewing experience preferred but not required
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to cross-train in multiple production areas
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude

Job Duties

• Operate within various manufacturing departments including Sewing, Quilting, Assembly, Packing, Foam Encasement, Gluing, Borders, Coiling, and Closing
• Produce quality products while meeting production goals
• Perform routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance on equipment
• Monitor production processes, gauges, controls, and equipment performance
• Report equipment issues and make minor adjustments when appropriate
• Assemble components and manufactured products using hand and power tools
• Follow established procedures for manufacturing equipment operation
• Measure and prepare raw materials for production
• Maintain quality standards and follow all safety procedures
• Support continuous improvement efforts and cross-functional teamwork

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up 10-40 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

As a Sewing Operator you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions. You will help keep production areas clean and organized, monitor product quality, meet production goals, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
