They will operate high-speed industrial sewing machines that stitch clothing parts into individual garments or will perform a manual task involved in the final details of our garments. Operate a high-speed industrial sewing machine using a variety of materials, e.g., cotton, rayon, polyester and wool or combination of fabric contents.

Nesco Resource has openings in the Hodgenville area for a Sewing Machine Operator. 1st shift Mon-Fri 7AM-3PM.

Position Summary:
The Sewing Machine Operators will assemble uniform apparel. They will operate high-speed industrial sewing machines that stitch clothing parts into individual garments or will perform a manual task involved in the final details of our garments.
Responsibilities:

• Operate a high-speed industrial sewing machine using a variety of materials, e.g., cotton, rayon, polyester and wool or combination of fabric contents.
• Measure, cut, pin, and sew fabric pieces.
• Fit, alter, and make made-to-measure clothing according to customers' specifications and guidelines.
• Press garments, using hand irons or pressing machines.
• Follow verbal and/or written instructions.
• Maintains sewing machine to ensure proper working order.
• Keeps working area clean and orderly.
