We're seeking a dedicated professional to join our Supply Chain Services and Digital Transformation team in Atlanta, GA. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work onsite from Tuesday to Thursday, with a full week onsite during training. Bring your expertise and drive improvements in our global supply chain!
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee freight settlement activities across 9 CPS plants.
- Support freight settlement in dispute resolution, audit compliance, and payment terms adherence.
- Perform regular audits of lane and rate master data to proactively avoid settlement disputes.
- Evaluate and verify contracts, tariffs, and agreements to ensure compliance with settlement processes.
- Collaborate with operational teams to resolve discrepancies in freight invoices.
- Monitor and track freight costs, ensuring accurate documentation for efficient settlement.
- Assist in audits and investigations related to freight charges.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and accuracy in settlement processes.
- Maintain communication with accounts payable and receivable departments to ensure timely settlements.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in freight settlement, carrier invoice validation, dispute resolution, and financial reconciliation.
- Strong process documentation skills with the ability to develop SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Expertise in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) such as Fourkites, S4H TM, or similar tools.
- Ability to work as part of a virtual global team and collaborate across geographic and organizational boundaries.
Preferences:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in Logistics/Supply Chain.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams or projects.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
