Services & Warranty Category Lead Senior Manager

As the Services & Warranty Category Lead, you'll shape how customers experience Best Buy Services across stores, online and in their homes. You will lead the services and protection business, manage financial performance, and turn customer insights into clear offers, pricing and promotions. You will also guide a team and bring partners together to deliver a consistent experience.

This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site Monday through Thursday at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You can work virtually from home or another non Best Buy location on Friday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you'll do

• Provide strategic input to marketing, retail, category, digital & technology, hardware, fulfillment operations in development of a customer experience plan reconciled with category and enterprise strategies.
• Own the services and protection P&L and build action plans to meet financial goals.
• Create and communicate the 12-month category plan across offers, pricing and promotions.
• Use customer, industry and digital insights to improve the experience across every channel.
• Lead vendor negotiations and align teams across category management, operations, technology, fulfillment and marketing.
• Track business performance and provide clear weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual updates.
• Coach and develop category leads and analysts through regular feedback, training and career planning.

Basic qualifications

• 4 years of experience in merchandising, e-commerce, marketing, operations, customer experience, vendor management, category management or services
• 1 year of direct or indirect people leadership experience, including work direction, coaching or mentorship
• 1 year of experience communicating and partnering with vendors or third parties

Preferred qualifications

• 4 years of experience in merchandising, e-commerce site management, merchandise planning for intangible products, services or financial planning
• 2 years of cross-functional team leadership
• 2 years of people management experience
• Experience developing and delivering short- and mid-term strategies
• Experience in ecommerce, category merchandising, or retail services
