    Services Architect

    Key responsibilities
    • Design and architecture: Create and implement network and service architecture frameworks for telecommunications solutions.
    • Requirements analysis: Assess an organization's business and technical requirements to design solutions that meet those needs.
    • Technology evaluation: Research, evaluate, and select appropriate technologies, such as for Optical, wireless, cloud communication, and VoIP.
    • Collaboration: Work with various stakeholders, including technical teams, business units, and vendors, to ensure seamless integration and project success.
    • Optimization: Continuously work to optimize performance, security, and cost-effectiveness of the network.
    • Stay current: Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the telecommunications industry.
    Essential skills and qualifications
    • Technical expertise: Deep knowledge of telecommunications networks, protocols, and infrastructure (e.g., Wireline, Optical, wireline, TCP/IP, DNS).
    • Cloud and virtualization: Experience with cloud-native architecture, microservices, and virtualization (vRAN) and optical and central office experience is often required.
    • Specific technology knowledge: Hands-on experience with specific network functions is a significant plus (e.g., SMF, UPF, AMF, or others).
    • Education: A degree in a technical field like computer science or electrical engineering, or equivalent work experience.
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Interpersonal skills: Strong ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams.
