Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow SPM Developer / Technical Consultant with strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM/PPM) solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience developing and implementing ServiceNow SPM solutions, along with strong expertise in ServiceNow scripting, configuration, integrations, automation, and technical delivery.

Mandatory Certifications

  • Active ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator)
  • Active CIS certification
  • CIS-SPM strongly preferred
  • CAD / CIS-APM are a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow SPM/PPM solutions based on business and functional requirements.
  • Work with SPM capabilities including:
    • Demand Management
    • Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
    • Resource Management
    • Agile Development / Scrum / SAFe
    • Investment Planning
    • Financial Management
  • Develop and maintain:
    • Business Rules
    • Client Scripts
    • UI Policies
    • Script Includes
    • Scheduled Jobs
    • Flow Designer
    • Workflows
  • Build and optimize dashboards, reports, and Performance Analytics for portfolio and project tracking.
  • Implement automation and approval workflows for demand intake and project lifecycle processes.
  • Develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and MID Server.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • Participate in the complete SDLC, including requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Follow ServiceNow development best practices, coding standards, security, and governance.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge assets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4 10 years of overall IT/ServiceNow experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow SPM/PPM development and implementation experience.
  • Strong ServiceNow platform development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and Glide APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting and customization.
  • Experience with Demand Management, PPM, Resource Management, Agile, and Investment Planning.
  • Strong experience with Flow Designer and automation frameworks.
  • Experience developing REST/SOAP integrations.
  • Knowledge of Integration Hub and MID Server.
  • Experience with dashboards, reporting, and Performance Analytics.
  • Understanding of ITIL and enterprise service management concepts.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a client-facing and global delivery environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CIS-SPM
  • CAD
  • CIS-APM
  • Experience with Performance Analytics and advanced reporting.
  • Experience with UI Builder / Service Portal.
  • Experience with ITBM to SPM migration projects.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum/SAFe environments.
