    About the Role

Join a forward-thinking team as a Senior ServiceNow Developer, specializing in IT Asset Management (ITAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and Software Asset Management (SAM). In this fully remote, long-term contract role, you'll architect and deliver cutting-edge ServiceNow solutions, streamline IT processes, and drive compliance for enterprise clients. Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, security, and IT operations to automate asset lifecycles, optimize costs, and ensure data accuracy.

    Responsibilities

    • Design, configure, and develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform, focusing on ITAM, HAM, and SAM modules across environments (Dev, Test, Prod)
    • Implement and enhance data models, discovery processes, normalization, entitlement management, reconciliation, and lifecycle workflows
    • Build and maintain integrations with CMDB, SCCM/Intune, Jamf, Azure AD, HR, procurement, and finance tools using MID Server, APIs, and web services
    • Configure HAM Pro (stockrooms, asset states, deployment, maintenance, repair, reclamation, disposal) and SAM Pro (software models, normalization, publisher packs, entitlements, contracts, reclamation, compliance)
    • Develop and optimize client/server scripts, UI policies, Flow Designer flows, business rules, Script Includes, and Scheduled Jobs
    • Implement discovery, normalization, and publisher packs; tune identification and reconciliation rules for IT asset data
    • Configure CMDB relationships, class models, and data quality controls (health, completeness, correctness)
    • Build dynamic dashboards and reports for inventory, license consumption, compliance, cost, and KPIs
    • Gather requirements, write user stories, and deliver releases in Agile/Scrum environments
    • Create and execute test plans for unit, integration, and UAT testing; support change management and release readiness
    • Produce technical documentation, solution designs, data maps, runbooks, and administrative support materials
    • Provide tier-3 support for ITAM/HAM/SAM issues, performance tuning, and remediation
    • Drive automation and continuous improvement for joiner/mover/leaver, refresh, lease return, and software reclamation processes

    Required Skills and Experience

    • 8+ years' hands-on experience developing on ServiceNow, with strong focus on ITSM, SPM, and ITAM
    • Advanced ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API), data model, and Flow Designer skills
    • Proven expertise in SAM Pro (entitlements, license metrics, compliance, reconciliation, optimization)
    • Proven expertise in HAM Pro (stockrooms, workflows, lifecycle states, asset audits)
    • Deep knowledge of CMDB/CSDM, Discovery, IRE, and data normalization
    • Integration experience with SCCM, Intune, Jamf, and other endpoint or inventory tools
    • Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis skills
    • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities

    Preferred Skills

    • Enterprise-scale experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Cloud Discovery, and SAM/HAM Pro optimization
    • Scripting for complex reconciliation, custom license models, and API-based entitlement loads
    • Knowledge of hardware lifecycle management (RMA, repair depots, lost/stolen, E-waste, secure disposal)
    • SaaS management experience (Okta, Azure AD, SSO, SCIM, telemetry-driven reclamation)
    • Data governance, data quality KPIs, and CMDB/CSDM alignment initiatives

    Benefits

    • 100% remote work-flexible work-life balance
    • Opportunity for long-term, stable contract engagement
    • Fast-moving hiring process-quick feedback and onboarding
    • Exposure to enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments and the latest ITAM technologies
    • Collaborate with industry leaders and develop in-demand expertise
