Job Description:
Job Summary
- Client is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to develop, configure, customize, and maintain enterprise ServiceNow applications supporting IT service management, enterprise workflows, and technology operations.
- The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, JavaScript, Service Portal, Flow Designer, and platform integrations.
- Experience supporting financial services or highly regulated enterprise environments is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Customize ServiceNow platform functionality using JavaScript.
- Develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.
- Configure and maintain ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.
- Develop and maintain Service Catalog items and workflows.
- Work with CMDB, Configuration Management, and ITOM capabilities.
- Develop integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and IntegrationHub.
- Configure Flow Designer and workflow automation.
- Develop and customize Service Portal components.
- Implement role-based access controls and platform security.
- Participate in platform upgrades, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application development, security, and operations teams.
Required Technical Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture.
- Experience with ITSM modules: Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog.
- Strong JavaScript programming skills.
- Experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and UI Policies.
- Experience with Flow Designer and Workflow Editor.
- Knowledge of CMDB and Configuration Management.
- Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations.
- Experience with ServiceNow Service Portal.
- Knowledge of ACLs, roles, and platform security.
- Experience with Agile development and ServiceNow deployment processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Financial services or banking industry experience.
- Experience with ITOM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks.
- Experience with ServiceNow Application Development.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- ServiceNow CIS certifications.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
