Job Title: ServiceNow Business Systems Analyst
Location: Tysons Corner, VA (Hybrid / Remote)
Duration: Fulltime

Job Summary
We are seeking a ServiceNow Business Systems Analyst to support business requirements, process improvement, and ServiceNow solution delivery for the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). The ideal candidate will combine strong business analysis skills with hands-on functional knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into ServiceNow solutions.
• Develop business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, functional specifications, and test scenarios.
• Work with stakeholders and technical teams to define and prioritize ServiceNow enhancements.
• Provide functional expertise across ServiceNow capabilities, including ITSM, CSM, HRSD, SPM, and CMDB.
• Support Service Catalog items, workflows, Flow Designer, notifications, data loads, reports, and dashboards.
• Analyze and troubleshoot functional ServiceNow issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams or ServiceNow Support.
• Support user, role, group, and access management activities from a functional perspective.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, SDLC activities, testing, and release planning.
• Support customer research and usability testing to improve ServiceNow solutions and user experience.

Required Qualifications

• Either 3+ years of ServiceNow platform administration experience or 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow functionality and business processes.
• Hands-on experience with at least three of the following: ITSM, CSM, HRSD, SPM, or CMDB.
• Experience developing requirements, user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and test scenarios.
• Experience with Service Catalog, workflows, Flow Designer, reporting, and dashboards.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• Experience supporting U.S. Federal Government programs.
• Experience with Human-Centered Design, customer research, or usability testing.
• Experience with ServiceNow SPM or Enterprise Risk Management.
• Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements.

Clearance
U.S. Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain the applicable federal Public Trust suitability determination.

Work Location
Remote within the United States, with occasional onsite or travel requirements as needed.

Compensation:
The expected compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 annually. Compensation is determined in good faith and may vary based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, clearance level, labor category alignment, contract requirements, work location, internal equity, and business needs.
