    Description

    Senior ServiceNow Architect
Houston, TX | Onsite | 6+ Month Contract

iSphere is looking for a Senior ServiceNow Architect who's passionate about building platforms the right way the first time. If you've spent your career helping organizations get the most out of ServiceNow—and steering them away from customizations they'll regret later—we'd like to talk.

This is a hands-on architecture role where you'll help shape the future of an enterprise ServiceNow environment. You'll work closely with business leaders, developers, analysts, and infrastructure teams to design scalable solutions, establish platform standards, and ensure the platform continues to grow without accumulating unnecessary technical debt.

    What they're really looking for:

    • 3+ years of recent experience serving as a ServiceNow Architect
    • 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development, configuration, and platform administration
    • Strong experience designing enterprise ServiceNow solutions—not just configuring them
    • Deep knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, CSDM, SecOps, GRC/IRM, CSM, SPM, SAM, Discovery, and Service Mapping
    • Experience with Flow Designer, scripting, platform security, ACLs, and Service Catalog development
    • Strong experience with REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and enterprise integrations
    • Experience with ITIL best practices, platform governance, upgrade planning, and release management
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders and executive leadership

    Bonus points if you have:

    • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
    • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
    • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, ITOM, or related modules)
    • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
    • Experience with AWS, Azure, automation, or AIOps initiatives

You'll spend your time designing enterprise solutions, reviewing technical approaches, guiding development teams, improving platform performance, supporting integrations, and helping ensure every enhancement fits into the organization's long-term architecture. You'll also work with business stakeholders to evaluate new requests, recommend the best path forward, and build solutions that are scalable, secure, and easy to support.

The right person for this role understands that being an architect isn't about saying "yes" to every request—it's about finding the best solution for today without creating tomorrow's problems. They know when to configure, when to customize, and when to push back because there's a better way.

If you enjoy solving complex platform challenges, mentoring technical teams, and building ServiceNow environments that are designed to last, we'd love to hear from you.
