McCarthy Tire Service is a fourth-generation, family-owned company serving the transportation industry since 1926. We are seeking a dependable Tire Service Writer to join our team.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate has:

• 1+ year of tire sales and/or service writing experience
• Strong knowledge of commercial and passenger tire products and services
• Experience with invoicing, coding, billing, purchase orders, and work orders
• Valid driver's license
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic math and accounting skills
• Good computer, typing, and data-entry skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Professional attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and remain active throughout the workday

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and manage service needs from intake through completion
• Assess customer concerns and recommend appropriate tire/service solutions
• Prepare estimates and explain pricing and recommended repairs
• Communicate with technicians, parts suppliers, and customers
• Provide customers with updates on service progress
• Schedule appointments and answer service-related questions
• Maintain accurate customer records, work orders, invoices, and other documentation
• Support pickup and delivery of tires and service products as needed
