Job Description: Serpentini Chevrolet of Westlake is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Mechanic to join our dynamic team. As an Auto Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles, including engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct thorough inspections and provide accurate and timely repair estimates.
- Communicate effectively with customers and service advisors regarding vehicle issues, repairs, and recommended maintenance.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Keep up-to-date with automotive industry advancements and attend training as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic with a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and computerized diagnostic tools.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of mechanical issues.
- ASE certification or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
