As a Service Technician with Apple Mountain, you’ll support 11 Applebee’s restaurants across Utah and Wyoming and play a key role in keeping equipment, facilities, and teams ready to serve guests every day. 

NOW HIRING - Restaurant Service / Maintenance Technician

This role performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across HVAC/refrigeration, kitchen equipment, plumbing, electrical, building systems, and remodel or special projects.

MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD, OR OLDER

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on restaurant kitchen equipment, HVAC/refrigeration systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and building components.
• Respond promptly to routine and urgent maintenance needs while balancing scheduled work, interruptions, and changing restaurant priorities.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory, complete housekeeping duties, and keep tools, materials, and work areas organized.
• Participate in remodels, refrigeration projects, and corporate initiatives across restaurant facilities as needed.
• Communicate clearly with restaurant teams, vendors, and leadership while providing excellent internal customer service.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Able to communicate effectively and provide verbal and written direction in English.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently, follow direction, and solve problems quickly.
• Self-disciplined, organized, responsive, and able to take initiative when routine issues are discovered.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of restaurant kitchen equipment repair or maintenance experience, including preventative maintenance program experience.
• Skills or certifications in general maintenance, HVAC/refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, or welding.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must own appropriate tools for the role.
• Travel is required, including potential overnight stays and support for technicians in other market areas.
• Must have flexibility to work all shifts as necessary in a noisy, fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, frequently reach, bend, stoop, stand for long periods, climb ladders, and access roofs.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening, criminal background screening, and driving record review.
