Description
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to on-site and field service calls for mining and off-the-road (OTR) equipment.
Mount, dismount, repair, and service large OTR and industrial tires.
Inspect tires, wheels, and equipment for wear, damage, and proper inflation.
Perform preventative maintenance and fleet inspections on heavy equipment.
Diagnose tire-related issues and complete necessary repairs safely and efficiently.
Operate service trucks and specialized equipment in rugged, off-road environments.
Maintain tools, service vehicles, and equipment in safe working condition.
Follow all MSHA/DOT regulations, company safety policies, and site-specific requirements.
Communicate clearly with customers and team members regarding service needs and timelines.
Assist with shop or warehouse duties when needed.
Skills / Education / Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record (CDL preferred).
Experience with OTR, mining, or heavy-duty tires preferred, but not required.
Ability to lift and handle large tires (50–300+ lbs.) with mechanical assistance.
Ability to work in extreme environments, including outdoor and mine site conditions.
Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
