A well-established global manufacturer of industrial heating and energy technology equipment is seeking a Service Technician to join its growing service team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an industry leader that invests in advanced combustion technology, employee development, and long-term career growth. The Service Technician is responsible for the installation, start-up, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of industrial burner and boiler systems at customer facilities throughout the Atlanta, Georgia area and surrounding states

Location: Atlanta, GA30318
Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:

Install, repair and service our client's products.
Maintain daily communication with the Service Coordinator to exchange information and facilitate scheduling.
Install burners, if needed, utilizing hand tools and machine tools.
Start-up newly installed burners while checking electrical wiring and functionality of safety devices.
Maintain burners during service visits.
Keep up detailed documentation of service site visits for ease of billing and follow up.
Responsible for company tools and measuring equipment as well as items such as a company car, phone and computer.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in the burner and/or boiler industry or servicing industrial equipment with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting responsibilities.
Experience installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting industrial combustion equipment.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, combustion controls, and industrial mechanical equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
Strong verbal, written, and customer communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and computer-based service documentation.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with service coordinators and fellow technicians.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight travel of up to one week at a time
Passport for training travel to Canada.
