    Description

    HiFyve is hiring a Service Technician in the Heavy Equipment industry in Indianapolis, IN!


    Salary: $32–$37/hour

    Shift: Full-Time | Monday–Friday (hours may vary)

    Location: Indianapolis, IN


    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues on heavy equipment in shop and field environments
    • Perform independent field service repairs with minimal supervision
    • Repair and replace engines, hydraulic systems, air conditioning, suspension, braking, steering, drive-train, and electrical components
    • Read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
    • Perform welding, brazing, fabrication, and modification of equipment and components as required
    • Source, order, and install replacement parts to complete repairs efficiently
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and DOT requirements
    • Communicate repair findings, causes, and corrective actions to supervisors and customers
    • Travel and work remotely, including overnight stays, as required


    Education Requirements

    • High School Diploma or GED (required)
    • Technical or vocational school training (preferred)


    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and drive-train systems
    • Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills on heavy equipment
    • Welding and fabrication experience
    • Ability to use electrical and hydraulic testing equipment
    • Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance practices
    • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
    • Ability to obtain and maintain DOT Medical Certification
