  Responsibilities

  • Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards
  • Test drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and A/C systems
  • Communicate directly with your Service Advisor so guests stay informed on additional service needed, including time estimates
  • Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications

  Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Service Technician experience is great, but it's not a deal breaker. If you're mechanically inclined and willing to learn, we're willing to teach.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; ASE certification is a bonus as well as a goal
  • Ford Certification, or willingness to work toward it
  • Previous Ford dealership experience is a bonus, not a requirement
  • B-level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair, are a plus
  • Steady hands and strong hand-eye coordination
  • Comfortable with technology, including performing video multi-point inspections
  • A positive attitude and a genuine willingness to keep learning
  • Someone who works well with a team and enjoys a fast-moving environment
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
